The FCTC Massage Therapy program is a 750 hour program as required by the Florida Department of Education Curriculum Framework. Upon graduation, students will be required to take the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) examination. FCTC is currently an approved NCBTMB massage program. Passing of this examination is essential, in the state of Florida, to achieve licensure, which is mandatory for employment.. The primary goal of this program is to create competent, licensed professionals and is designed to achieve this outcome. Students may complete the course with 600 hours of training, as long as all competencies have been achieved. However, students may not graduate before their anticipated completion date. Other students may require the entire 750 hours to complete the required competencies.
